Please note: your address details are only required if you have agreed to Gift Aid your donation.

Gift Aid

If you are a UK taxpayer, under the Gift Aid Scheme Chester Mystery Plays will receive an extra 25p for every £1 that you donate, at no extra cost to you. Please submit our short form below to complete your online Gift Aid declaration. By doing so you declare:

I want to Gift Aid my donation and any donations I make in the future or have made in the past four years to Chester Mystery Plays Limited. I am a UK taxpayer and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year it is my responsibility to pay any difference.

Updating your details
If you want to cancel this declaration, change your name or home address, or no longer pay sufficient tax on your income and/or capital gains, just log into your Friends account and update your profile.

Higher rate taxpayers must include all Gift Aid donations on your Self Assessment tax return if you want to receive the additional tax relief due to you.

Renew Subscription

If your subscription has expired you can renew it here using your credit or debit card, or Paypal account if you have one. Payments are processed by Paypal, and will repeat automatically every year until cancelled. Paypal will notify you when this is due to happen or if there is a problem (e.g. card expiry). Our normal subscription fees are shown below, but we would of course be delighted if you choose to donate more.

Once we have processed your subscription and updated your details we will email you to confirm.

Should things change you can cancel your Paypal subscription either via the link on your confirmation email from Paypal, or by clicking below.

The Friends of the Chester Mystery Plays

A group which supports the event in many ways and always welcomes new members.

For a small annual fee (starting at £10 for an individual or £15 for two), you can enjoy a range of social events exclusive to Friends, have closer contact with the production, be involved in fundraising activities and be personally acknowledged in the official Plays' programme.

However active - or not - you wish to be, just becoming a Friend is a good start and helps support the production. Membership also makes the perfect gift for the arts lovers on your list and offers an inside peek into one of Britain's greatest literary and theatrical treasures.
